Elyssa
I just recently had lunch at a shop opened by a Opposition of Malaysia government. Their main attraction is the price of their Steam Fish Head. The fish cost only a mere RM 9.90! The prices for other dishes sold were a little above average (about RM2 more than normal). Here are some examples of their food:-

The Rm 9.90 Steam Fish Head..not bad for its price

Just a simple bitter gourd dish..RM12

The yummy Marmite Chicken..RM15

My family enjoyed the Steam Fish Head very much. I still think those in Jalan Chan Sow Lin and Mun Kee Restaurant is so much nicer and sweeter. However, you have to keep into account the price difference :P. But, I do love their marmite chicken..yummy!

So, does it mean I have to vote for the opposition from now on???

Hahaha...well, Oppositions, do not get too excited because I got to be a voter first.

Hahaha..PP, maybe they compensate fish head loss by charging more for others. Everyone will talk about the how cheap the fish head is and then they get lots of customers! Wow...good strategy..hehehe...

Btw ur killing me with picture of food.....*salivating*

Sorry people...was writing the blog in a hurry. Already changed the sentence commenting on the price for other dishes :P. But if you add on RM4 to the fish (from the extra RM2/dish), the fish costs RM13.90..still cheap. Hahaha

Never heard of marmite chicken. Got to try that. Speaking of fish head, have you heard about the hugely popular fish head curry in Sentul? A cousin treated me to that when I was in KL, boy was that delicious. Very busy place. Now don't ask me where it is exactly. You gotta ask people who are born with compasses in their heads :) "Sis", I can tell you are going to go crazy catching up with all the eating when you and family visit KL in Oct. SR

Sentul is quite far from my place...so I don't know about it :P. Must ask around already..hehe. I love Fish Head Curry :)

oohhh, ooohhh...me want fish head curry too ;)

SR - Nick and I were just talking about how the boys would LOVE trying all sorts in Msia. We took them to Msian restaurant a few times now...I am predicting chicken rice, roti canai and wonton noodle soup/dry for sure! Luc is really getting into trying all sorts of food including mild spicy food - he'll usually have only a couple of small bites but showing definite interest since he asks for a second bite :)

I think with parents who really LOVES food, they are falling into our food steps...which I am definitely not complaining about after hearing horror stories about little ones who would hardly eat anything!

It is really a joy when children are NOT picky eaters. A friend (Malaccan married to Am.) used to have to pack all sorts of Am. food for her son whenever they visited M'ysia. At 14, he is better. Sarah absolutely loves roti canai, noodle soup, curry mee, chicken rice, chili fish, nasi lemak, rambutan, and mangosteen. Though not a fav, she would eat some durians. Lyssa, I got the address of the fish head curry place from my cousin, and have e-mailed the details to you. Check it out with AK, post pics. The restaurant has other great dishes too. SR
