Our Plaster Ceiling is up :)

Problem...problem...

There are some good news and some bad news. As you can see, my plaster ceiling in the living hall is already up (lightings have yet to be installed). The contractor have closed up neatly some of the holes that the alarm contractor 'created' to install the alarm wires. HOWEVER.....an accident happened. The alarm contractor accidentally burst our water pipe at the master bedroom (located above our room door as shown in the other photo). Sigh....hence our general contractor will have to spend some time to fix this mess before he can continue with his work. Hope all goes well after this.

Hmmmm is the alarm contractor going to be responsible for the cost of repairing it? It is only right to do so.

Thank goodness the alarm contractor willing to bear the responsibility for the cost of repairing. We told them the rough amount (quoted by our general contractor), and they said OK. Just need to issue them the bill when they come and fix the alarm keypads. RM300+ leh..

  3. u can install alarm? i thought condo units can't install alarm.. as what i've been told by my contractor.. hmmmm....

Condo/Apartment units definitely CAN install an alarm system. However, now that you mentioned it, you've been told by your contractor or the management? If the management then I am big trouble. But if Russ and you want to install now, then it should be with the wireless alarm system.
